We are delighted to share that Louise Müller has recently published two new books:

Both works offer profound insights into African philosophy, challenging Western perspectives on beauty, well-being, and development. Müller explores how African thought contributes to global debates on ethics, aesthetics, and social progress.

Louise Müller is a University Lecturer in African Literature and Media at Leiden University. She has an academic background in philosophy, world history, and African studies, with a research focus on literature, religion, media, politics, and gender. Her expertise includes Akan and Yoruba oral literature, Nollywood and Ghallywood cinema, and religious education in Zambia. She has conducted fieldwork in Ghana, Amsterdam, and Zambia and has traveled extensively across Africa.

Louise Müller participated in our summer school in 2009 and 2010, and we are thrilled to highlight her latest contributions to the field.
