We’re delighted to share exciting publication news from Jethro Calacday, one of our 2024 Summer School alumni. His paper, which he originally presented during last year’s programme, has now been published in Diplomatic History, the journal of the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations (SHAFR).
The article is titled ‘The Politics of Recognition in US-Philippine-Vatican Relations, 1898–1899’. You can read it here.
Jethro also shared that he has another article forthcoming in Church History. We’re looking forward to reading it once it’s out in the coming weeks!
